Failure of Server to Recognize username?

I cannot log in because the server has given me the message that it is failing to verify my username, have I done something wrong that I am not aware of or is this a bug and happening to other people?

    i keep getting this to, i joined the other server address rudy gave us and it worked, now it is giving me the same error

    Does the error message mention MCBans at all?

    It's nothing to do with the Server, it's Minecrafts fault. Apparently they've fixed it.
